KPMG is seeking a seasoned director to join our Legal, Regulatory & Compliance organization. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive firm-wide policies and procedures to uphold effective compliance programs that align with regulatory expectations and best practices. Establish governance structures for consistent implementation and oversight of compliance activities across ethics and compliance, as well as Compliance Operations. Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, updating ethics and compliance policies, training, processes, and controls as necessary. Conduct collaborative assessments of compliance programs to evaluate effectiveness and implement monitoring plans to ensure adherence to standards and regulations. Regularly review the ethics and compliance program, identifying strategic gaps and opportunities for enhancement. Assist in preparing reports for the CECO to update management and the board of directors on the effectiveness of KPMG's E&C programs. Uphold the principles of integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility within our respectful work environment. Qualifications: At least ten years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or related roles; experience in professional services or regulated industries is preferred. A Master's degree, Juris Doctor, or an advanced degree from an accredited institution is preferred; a Bachelor's degree is required. Demonstrated experience in enterprise-wide compliance programs and governance frameworks. Strong comprehension of regulatory requirements, risk management principles, and compliance monitoring methodologies. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Adept at synthesizing complex information and providing actionable insights to management. Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
