Description Additional Experience: COMPETENCY: Otorhinolaryngology General/Gynecology Neurology Orthopedics Cardiovascular JOB KNOWLEDGE: Principles of aseptic technique; orientation of surgical procedures; preparation, operation and care of equipment and machines; understands patient and staff safety recommendations. ADDL CONSIDERATIONS: Capable of rapid accurate reactions; concern for quality patient care; communicates and works effectively with various levels of personnel; stands and walks major portion of work schedule; moderate to heavy lifting required; exposure to cuts, burns, infection, biohazardous chemicals and x-ray Minimum Education: EDUCATION : Graduate of an accredited and/or hospital approved Surgical Technician program. Certification preferred. EXPERIENCE : Fulfilled through the educational process and documented on a skill check list which is kept current on each individual. Salary 45.00 - 45.00 Hour
