Your Purpose As a Member Engagement Specialist (MES) at YouFit Gyms, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional experience for every member and guest. Being the first point of contact, you will set a welcoming tone with your outstanding customer service. Your primary focus will be to engage with members, address their inquiries, and facilitate smooth check-ins and transactions. In addition, you will support member retention efforts and uphold gym policies, ensuring a friendly and positive atmosphere that is vital for our team. What You'll Do Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting members, guests, and prospects to create a welcoming environment. Manage member check-ins by verifying account status and ensuring smooth entry. Assist members over the phone by providing accurate information and addressing their inquiries. Support account management and billing by helping members with account updates and payment processing. Engage with members considering cancellations and offer solutions to enhance retention. Handle transactions and manage the cash drawer accurately while processing retail purchases and payments. Enforce gym policies to maintain a safe and respectful environment by upholding club rules. Perform opening and closing duties following established procedures to prepare the facility. Help maintain a clean and organized front desk and facility as needed. Create a positive gym experience by welcoming prospects, understanding their fitness needs, and guiding them through membership options. What We're Looking For Must be at least 18 years of age. Proficient in English; fluency in multiple languages is a plus. Available to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Basic proficiency in transaction handling, cash drawer balancing, and cash-handling procedures. Ability to enforce gym policies professionally and effectively address member concerns. Basic computer skills for processing check-ins and managing member interactions. A team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and service excellence.
