Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian to join their multi-specialty referral and emergency hospital. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis and offers the opportunity to manage advanced emergency cases within a highly equipped facility. The emergency team works in close partnership with board-certified specialists, ensuring strong collaboration and access to specialty-level expertise for complex cases. The hospital features advanced diagnostic imaging, intensive care capabilities, and a fully supported in-house laboratory and pharmacy. Emergency clinicians are empowered to practice high-level medicine while working alongside a skilled technical team dedicated to exceptional patient care and client service. In this position, your responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive emergency examinations and medical assessments Performing urgent surgical and diagnostic procedures Managing critical hospitalized patients and participating in case rounds Maintaining thorough and compliant medical records Collaborating with specialists and hospital leadership to uphold clinical standards Qualifications Needed: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution Active Arizona veterinary license in good standing DEA registration or ability to obtain and maintain Minimum of one year experience in emergency veterinary medicine Strong diagnostic reasoning and ability to manage high-acuity cases Package: Compensation range between $200,000 and $225,000 Signing incentive and retention packages available Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer contribution Paid parental leave Continuing education stipend and professional development support Employee pet care discounts Wellbeing and employee assistance resources Collaborative specialty-supported emergency environment
