Shift Supervisor

The Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager and overseeing daily restaurant operations. This position collaborates with the Restaurant Management Team to ensure all team members deliver exceptional service, while aligning with the restaurant's business goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Delivers an outstanding product and service experience, ensuring total customer satisfaction. Focuses on enhancing the skills and performance of all Crew Members. Aids in maximizing sales and profits while minimizing costs through effective leadership of shift activities. Adheres to and promotes all company policies and procedures, exemplifying shared values. Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, with diverse stakeholders. Participates in training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry trends. Engages in company meetings and collaborative discussions. Completes additional duties or projects as directed in response to business needs. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES Two to three years of experience or education demonstrating comprehensive restaurant management knowledge. High School Diploma or GED required. Excellent planning and time management abilities. Strong team-building and leadership skills. Proficient in problem-solving and investigative skills. Able to troubleshoot cash handling issues effectively. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance are required. Accessible communication methods are necessary with an open-door policy. Bi-lingual skills are advantageous. Possesses strong analytical and organizational skills, with a capacity for implementing process improvements for positive results. WORK ENVIRONMENT Fast-paced environment with tight working conditions involving kitchen equipment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to stand for extended periods. Able to bend and stoop as needed. Comfortable working around heat sources. Capable of lifting 50 - 75 lbs. comfortably and working with various cleaning supplies.
