Functional Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Functional Consultant for a Contract with a client in Raritan, NJ. This role leads to the delivery of security solutions for the SAP BTP Platform, requiring deep expertise in S/4HANA and BTP Security . Rate Range: $41/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Functional Consultant job responsibilities include: Lead and deliver endtoend security solutions for SAP BTP, ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards and project timelines. Oversee and implement security design for S/4HANA, BTP, and BW/4HANA, including roles, authorizations, datalevel security, and compliance controls. Translate functional requirements into secure technical designs and guide teams on application security best practices and governance. Manage user administration through Active Directory/Identity Access Management and support global S/4 Security operations. Identify risks through segregationofduties analysis and ensure resolution by coordinating with technical teams across onsite/offshore environments. Develop and implement security policies, support CI/CDbased BTP developments, troubleshoot issues, and provide leadership across security initiatives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. 10+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Security and a minimum of 3 years in SAP BTP Security. Strong handson expertise in SAP Security design across S/4HANA, BTP, and BW/4HANA, with a solid understanding of datalevel security and compliance standards. Proven experience in managing global/regional SAP rollouts, CI/CDbased BTP developments, and leading complex security initiatives across crossfunctional teams.
