About the Shift Supervisor Role: As a Shift Supervisor, you will support the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) by running efficient and effective shifts. You will take ownership of your responsibilities, solve problems proactively, and foster a collaborative environment by providing assistance to your team when needed. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring Exceptional Customer Satisfaction: Execute the Manager-In-Charge Success Routine and ensure key responsibilities under People, Customers, and Service are fulfilled. Oversee that all Team Members complete their assigned Shift Excellence tasks. Ensure that employees maintain a neat appearance and adhere to the company uniform policy. Demonstrate that customer needs are the highest priority. Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders. Quickly resolve customer complaints while upholding positive relations. Greet customers warmly, ensuring a polite and pleasant interaction. Work with urgency and focus. Collaborate with management and fellow employees effectively. Foster teamwork by assisting peers whenever necessary. Maintain a positive and enthusiastic demeanor with co-workers. Attendance: Understand the posted work schedule and arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to work. Provide proper notice for absences. Utilize the approved timekeeping system to accurately record hours worked. Initiative and Energy: Proactively take action and exceed basic job requirements by maintaining a high level of activity. Developing Team Members: Provide feedback to the RGM on Team Members' performance. Offer ongoing constructive and positive feedback to Team Members. Be actively involved in the training of Team Members. Manage conflicts constructively and collaborate with the RGM to resolve issues. Act Like an Owner: Assist with profit and loss management by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, and managing labor. Oversee proper food preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times. Support the RGM with facility maintenance and adhere to health and safety standards. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager. Job Requirements: Preference will be given to candidates currently in the Hourly Champion position. Must be at least 18 years old. Successful completion of a background check and drug test is required. Must possess reliable transportation. Able to perform basic business math. Capable of stocking shelves and coolers. Able to oversee and guide subordinate employees. Physical ability to sweep and mop floors, dust, and lift/carry trash containers (up to 50 lbs). Ability to clean the parking lot and surrounding areas of the restaurant. Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting, and bending for the majority of the shift. This list of duties is not exhaustive. Employees typically work an average of 30+ hours a week, with hours varying based on operational needs.
