Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Supervise and manage the daily operations of the emergency department (ED). Develops, implements, and evaluates ongoing emergency services programs to uphold quality patient care aligned with the hospital's mission. Lead and mentor emergency department staff, including nurses, physicians, and support personnel. Provide educational opportunities and training programs for emergency department staff to enhance clinical knowledge and skills. Develops, prioritizes, and justifies requests for capital equipment. Manages the fiscal responsibilities of the department to ensure efficient use of organizational resources. Candidate requirements Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas is mandatory. Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in emergency care, with 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.
