Your Role as a Tax Advisor As a Tax Advisor with Block Advisors, you will play a crucial role in empowering clients to make informed decisions regarding their finances, careers, and businesses. Year-round, you will build lasting client relationships that strengthen over time. In this role, you will cater to clients with varying tax and business service needs, supported by a team of experts providing the advanced training necessary for your success. Block Advisors is a proud brand of H&R Block, redefining tax preparation for individuals and small businesses with intricate tax and service needs. Our objective is to support our clients in achieving their financial aspirations. Preferred Qualifications: CPA or Enrolled Agent certification Experience with business tax returns History of conducting virtual tax interviews Sales or marketing experience Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field Key Responsibilities: Develop year-round relationships with clients Offer tax preparation, audit support, and planning services year-round Instill confidence in clients by conducting tax interviews in person and virtually (video conferencing, email, chat) Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and present additional products and services Assist clients with IRS-related support Provide tax notice services at all certification levels Circular 230 associates may offer audit representation Continuously expand your tax expertise 5+ years of tax experience Experience with individual tax returns Tax planning and audit support Strong verbal communication skills, both in-person and virtually Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools - video conferencing and chat Experience in a dynamic, supportive work environment Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent Commitment to ongoing education and meeting IRS/state requirements Why Join Us?
