We are looking for a compassionate Optometric Specialist with a strong commitment to Geriatric and Underserved Communities. Your role will involve delivering optometric services that support our mission to improve quality of life! Your Responsibilities: Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities Perform eye exams using mobile optometric equipment and interpret diagnostic results Diagnose and treat ocular diseases Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses Recommend follow-up care and treatments Educate patients, families, and staff on vision and optical protocols and concerns Provide excellent customer service during patient interactions What We Provide: Trained vision tech to assist you State-of-the-art portable equipment and supplies, including: Auto-refractor Retinal camera Hand-held slit light Tonopen All scheduling and billing managed by 360Care Laptop for documentation purposes Comprehensive office support, including a Care Coordination team for consents, pre-authorizations, and IT support Field support and mentorship from the Clinical Director Qualifications: Requirements: Doctor of Optometry Degree Active State License If you are a licensed Optometrist in good standing at any stage of your career, we encourage you to apply!
