Join Our Team as a Commercial Parts Specialist! We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Commercial Parts Specialist to support the growth of our commercial business. In this key role, you will leverage your expert automotive knowledge to enhance customer relationships, drive sales, and provide exceptional service to our commercial clients. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers. Deliver a GAS2 selling experience tailored to commercial needs. Achieve individual and store sales goals and meet service objectives. Provide daily supervisory support and coaching for team members. Ensure timely and accurate delivery by collaborating with drivers. Manage commercial stocking programs and optimize inventory. Develop a network of second source suppliers for enhanced sourcing capabilities. Additional Responsibilities: Oversee core bank and commercial returns. Manage commercial credit accounts effectively. Partner with management to ensure adequate driver coverage. Success Factors: Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Expertise in locating and stocking automotive parts. Commitment to safety and operational excellence. Proficiency in operating inventory systems and store equipment. Advanced knowledge of automotive systems and parts. Highly effective at using POS and parts lookup systems. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills: Solid understanding of automotive systems, including engines, brakes, and electronics. Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Able to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals. Basic math skills for accurate calculations. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Capable of understanding commercial profitability and market opportunities. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years' experience in automotive parts is preferred. Proven track record in sales and customer service. Leadership experience, whether formal or informal, in managing teams. Education: High school diploma or GED required. Certificates and Certifications: ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly; occasionally up to 100 pounds. Work Environment: Primarily indoors with occasional outdoor exposure to various weather conditions. Moderate noise level with exposure to mechanical parts and chemicals. This position is eligible for sales commission based on individual and store performance. Compensation: Hourly wage ranges from $16.45 to $18.10, based on experience, location, and other relevant factors.
