Eye Care Practitioner

Job Description A well-established Eye Care Practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join their team. This patient-centered practice values the care and respect of every individual, and offers a unique opportunity for professional and personal growth. This is a 1099 position with a competitive hourly rate of $65-$95 based on experience, offering 16-30 hours per week with an optional Saturday shift (short day). We are looking for someone eager to learn, whether you're new to the field or have existing experience. A strong chemistry with the team is essential, and you should feel comfortable operating in a medical mode. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine eye exams Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular diseases Prescribe corrective lenses Promote healthy vision through patient counseling and education Maintain comprehensive patient records regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress Manage eye care emergencies Handle diverse cases, including sports vision and computer vision Requirements: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.)
