Packaging Technician

Palmer Logistics is looking for skilled Chemical Operators to join our dynamic team!The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and proficient in operating different types of equipment in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials and products. If you're a dedicated and proactive individual looking to make an impact in our organization, we want to hear from you!Pay Rate:$18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience and equipment knowledge.Key Responsibilities: Trans loading product from railcar using operating equipment into sacks, drums, etc. Operate plant station to assure correct weight and seal containment. Maintain high level of housekeeping in work area.Equipment inspected daily and cleaned as required. Operate a forklift unloading or loading totes, drums. Perform other duties assigned by management. Qualifications: Must have 2 -3 years of forklift experience in a logistics environment.Flexible work schedule: must be able to come in early, stay late, and/or work weekends depending on operational needs.Must be able to work in a congested area(s) and non-climate-controlled warehouse.Must have 2 -3 years in handling hazardous materialMust be able to lift 50 lbs, adjust the body to bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat, and grab; walk for extended periods.Must be able to work in elevated areas and on platforms.Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.High school diploma or GED.Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
