Your Role: As a Tax Advisor at H&R Block, you will benefit from comprehensive training and support from our expert team, providing you with the flexibility and earning potential that suits your lifestyle. Conduct engaging tax interviews with clients in person or through virtual platforms (video, phone, chat, email). Prepare accurate and complete tax returns tailored to client needs. Drive business growth by enhancing client retention and promoting additional products and services. Assist clients with inquiries related to the IRS. Collaborate with your team to achieve office-wide goals. Expand your expertise in tax preparation and regulatory knowledge. Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is advantageous. Experience in customer service or retail environments. Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. Availability to work 25-35 hours weekly during tax season, with opportunities for up to 40 hours during peak periods. What You Bring to the Table: Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or the Income Tax Course. Ability to excel in a dynamic work environment. Familiarity with virtual communication tools (video, phone, chat). Strong communication skills, both in person and digitally. Compliance with IRS and state regulations.
