Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples as necessary for testing. Thoroughly document all lab procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and ensure adherence to quality standards in the lab. Sustain a clean, safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire. Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
