Claims Expert - Employment Practices Liability & Ancillary Lines Job Code P01013 About the Team The Employment Practices Liability team at AXIS is dynamic and engaging, handling both primary and excess claims across various policy forms. Our team's strength is amplified by our culture of collaboration, growth, and diversity. How Does This Role Contribute to Our Success? The selected candidate will play a key role in investigating, analyzing, and evaluating Third Party Liability claims while ensuring accurate coverage determinations. You will deepen your expertise in Employment Practices Liability and work closely with complex insureds on significant disputes. This role offers substantial opportunities for impactful case resolutions in specialized insurance areas, including exposure to Fiduciary Liability claims. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Serving as a Claims Expert focused on Employment Practices Liability Claims within AXIS' Claims team. Assessing the valuation of complex claims, recommending settlement strategies, and effectively working with insureds, brokers, and partners. Traveling to participate in mediations, observe trials, and build strong relationships with critical AXIS partners. Addressing coverage concerns with internal teams and collaborating with external attorneys as necessary. Creating claims and litigation strategies, delegating tasks, and effectively overseeing external legal advisors. Providing assistance with underwriting inquiries, analyzing claim trends, and conducting comprehensive risk assessments to inform decision-making. Maintaining accurate records of claim activities and ensuring systems are duly updated with relevant details for efficiency. Showcase experience as a litigator or litigation manager, adept in dispute resolution. Write precise and accurate coverage letters independently, showcasing strong attention to detail. Role Factors: This position entails travel and requires three days in the office each week while adhering to AXIS licensing requirements. What We Offer: The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 - $130,000 based on your experience and location. You will also receive competitive target incentive compensation linked to corporate and individual performance, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage, health and wellness programs, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and more.
