Join Camping World as a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) and be part of our dynamic team! We are looking for passionate individuals with advanced diagnostic and repair skills in Recreational Vehicle (RV) systems, including generators and coach body repairs. If you thrive on fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance issues, this role is made for you. A successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, and possess expertise in maintenance and repairs. At Camping World, we are committed to providing certification for individuals who may need it. What You'll Do: Conduct thorough diagnostic tests and provide documentation of repairs or replacement services for our customers. Perform maintenance tasks in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance areas. Keep accurate records of all parts and materials utilized in repairs or replacements. Regularly update your supervisor on work progress. Ensure all completed work meets high-quality standards and is inspected by a supervisor or designated individual. Maintain a clean and safe work environment for both customers and colleagues. What You'll Need to Have for the Role: While a certification from a college or technical school in fields like HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Maintenance is beneficial, we highly value relevant work experience. A minimum of 1-year experience as a service technician or in related fields is preferred. RVIA certification is advantageous but not a requirement. Must be prepared for potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment. Capable of handling environmental conditions such as heat, cold, humidity, dust, and wetness. Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for extended periods. Must provide your own hand and shop tools. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistance. A valid driver's license is preferred. General Compensation Disclosure At Camping World, our compensation is influenced by various factors including experience, training, and business needs, ensuring a fair pay structure.
