Intercompany Accounting Associate

Join Our Team as an Intercompany Accounting Associate! Are you a detail-oriented professional excited to enhance your accounting skills in multi-entity environments? Keycafe is seeking an Associate-level Intercompany Accountant to manage daily bookkeeping and month-end tasks across four entities and multiple currencies under ASPE. You will work closely with our CFO and play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online (QBO) while utilizing Dext for process efficiencies. Your Responsibilities: Daily Bookkeeping: Handle daily transactions across four company files; ensure precise coding, matching, and publishing with appropriate vendor and tax mappings. Manage Purchase Orders, Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), and enter Journal Entries. Reconciliations: Support the reconciliation process of 9 bank accounts and 2 credit cards; efficiently resolve open items and escalate any unresolved issues. Month-End Support (ASPE): Prepare standard journal entries such as prepaids, accruals, revenue/COGS, run essential reports (Trial Balance, General Ledger, AP, AR), and assist in ensuring a smooth close by the 15th of each month. Intercompany & Transfer Pricing: Maintain detailed intercompany schedules; prepare and post routine intercompany and Transfer Pricing entries under the CFO's guidance; track foreign exchange remeasurement for CAD, USD, EUR, and GBP. AP/AR Hygiene: Assist in vendor onboarding, review expense reports, ensure accurate invoice coding, and perform aging reviews. Workflow & Documentation: Leverage Asana daily for task management; document accounting processes and save relevant files in Google Drive; communicate progress and status updates via Slack. Continuous Improvement: Suggest small automations to streamline processes using QBO bank rules, Dext rules, and basic AI-driven checks to minimize manual work. Why Become a Part of Keycafe?
