Join our team at Hi-Tek Manufacturing as a skilled CNC Grind Operator on the 2nd shift. Shift Times: 1st shift: 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri (Overtime may be required) 2nd shift: 3:30pm-12:00am Mon-Fri (Overtime may be required) Compensation: $20-30 per hour, plus a 15% shift differential for 2nd shift. Key Responsibilities: Operate CBN (cubic boron nitride) plated wheel grinding radial. Adhere to all Hi-Tek policies and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE. Interpret production sheets, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to ensure products meet customer specifications. Utilize precision measuring tools to verify the conformance of finished workpieces. Maintain a strong understanding of CNC principles, including G and M codes, and rotary/linear axes. Setup and secure fixtures, grinding wheels, and workpieces on machines. Analyze and interpret CMM reports to adjust machine dimensions as needed. Perform deburring operations within specified tolerances. Operate overhead cranes as necessary. Record labor hours accurately in the ERP system. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by fulfilling daily housekeeping duties. Run multiple machines when assigned and demonstrate the ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally. Exhibit a positive attitude and good attendance, taking ownership of responsibilities. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds. Stand for the majority of the scheduled shift. Regularly perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping to manage tools and materials. Work adhering to AS9100 standards. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1 year experience related to milling or lathe operations. Basic math skills and strong problem-solving abilities. Must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident.
