The Taco Bell Restaurant Operations Manager is the key leader who sets the tone for the work environment and ensures exceptional customer hospitality. In this role, you will be accountable for the overall operation of the restaurant and for building a strong team that consistently delivers delicious food and a friendly experience. Key responsibilities include: Finding, hiring, and developing employees to create a cohesive team. Conducting new hire orientation and developing tailored training plans for each newcomer. Effectively scheduling and deploying the team to optimize performance. Addressing performance issues and aiding in the resolution of customer concerns. Managing the restaurant's budget and financial objectives. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, a proven track record of developing team members, and a positive attitude. Job Requirements and Essential Functions: High School Diploma or GED; College or University Degree preferred. 2-4 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail, with Profit and Loss responsibilities. Basic personal computer literacy. Strong preference for internal promotion from the Assistant General Manager position. Must be at least 21 years old. Must successfully pass background check criteria and drug test. Reliable transportation is a must. Basic business math and accounting skills, along with strong analytical decisions-making abilities. Able to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting up to 50 lbs., and disposing of trash. Able to maintain cleanliness of the parking lot and surrounding grounds. Able to endure standing, walking, and stooping during 80% of shift time.
