Company : Allegheny Health Network Job Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients experiencing challenges with speech, language, voice, cognitive functions, and swallowing. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will collaborate effectively with patients, families, and other professionals to enhance patient outcomes. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patient conditions, setting tailored goals and care plans in collaboration with patients and families. Implement therapy interventions using both standard and specialized techniques appropriate for individual patient needs and conditions. Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with departmental and regulatory standards. Engage in departmental initiatives aimed at operational improvement, such as participation in committees and educational offerings. Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and departmental functions. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum: Master's Degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology. Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate. Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate. Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate. Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
