The Application Development & Maintenance team is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining our software systems within a collaborative team environment. We ensure that our user applications, systems, databases, and websites meet both internal and external business needs through rigorous design processes and engineering best practices. Role Overview As a Senior IT Business Solutions Analyst, you will primarily support the WaveMark Supply Management & Workflow Solutions, a SaaS offering that provides healthcare providers and manufacturers with cutting-edge technology for managing supplies effectively. This role involves utilizing advanced hardware, such as RFID, and a cloud-based software analytics platform to ensure full visibility and control over supplies, ranging from cost-effective commodities to high-value medical devices. Your contributions will help deliver the most efficient and cost-effective patient care possible. Your responsibilities will extend to safeguarding the organization’s digital assets by designing, implementing, monitoring, and enforcing robust security processes across applications and operations. Collaborating with various teams, including software and hardware engineering and compliance, you will ensure that security practices are well integrated. Furthermore, you will be tasked with developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: Application Portfolio Management (APM): Oversee and maintain APM records, ensuring data accuracy for WaveMark and MarginAnalysis. Track deadlines for APM resiliency and update relevant tracking systems. Monitor Archer dashboards for compliance deadlines and resolve past-due issues. Organize regular status calls with stakeholders on application resiliency and remediation efforts. Collaborate with IT and business teams for record updates and reporting. Application Security & Compliance: Conduct analyses of security threats and vulnerabilities to prioritize remediation actions. Coordinate with product management and development teams to align security fixes with business goals. Assist in integrating application logs into the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system. Develop validation processes for security system testing and effectiveness. Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and regulations. Support security incident responses leveraging SIEM technologies. Review security policies, procedures, and controls against established frameworks. Assist in the setup and configuration of application security tools. Monitor adherence to application security standards and assist in investigations. Create custom tools for security integration in development processes as needed. Qualifications: 2-4 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience. Familiarity with SDLC and DevSecOps concepts like CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of application security controls. Knowledge of security control frameworks, particularly the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain objective in assignments. Strong capacity for learning new technologies and adapting to changes. Proficient technical, procedural, and interpersonal skills for analyzing information systems. Adeptness with authentication and authorization patterns. Experience in analyzing SCA/SAST scan outcomes and remediation collaboration. Proficient in creating dashboards in tools like Splunk or Rapid7. Familiarity with Veracode. Possession of information security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or others is highly desirable. Expectations: Utilize working knowledge of concepts and technical capabilities to perform diverse tasks. Engage in projects of moderate scope and complexity. Identify and implement solutions for various technical challenges. Apply sound judgment in accordance with established parameters. Receive guidance on new projects for enhanced clarity. Work results are reviewed for quality and reasoning.
