Field Service Technician

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday Join our team as a Field Service Technician where you'll play a crucial role in the installation, setup, repair, and maintenance of vending, cooling, and fountain equipment for our valued customers. This position requires a hands-on approach and offers the chance to work independently while building strong customer relations. Your responsibilities will include: Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on marketing equipment. Educating customers about basic equipment upkeep and repair procedures. Installing equipment and connecting necessary supplies like water and gas. Prioritizing and scheduling service and maintenance calls efficiently. Assessing on-site situations and executing required work, which may include plumbing, electrical repairs, and refrigeration tasks. Maintaining accurate records and customer information. Managing inventory of parts on your service vehicle. Building positive relationships with customers during service visits. Completing job paperwork promptly and communicating updates regularly. Transporting miscellaneous items for repair or recycling as needed. Maintaining regular, reliable, and predictable attendance. Basic Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old (21 if a CDL is required). Valid U.S. CDL license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable). Ability to pass a DOT Physical and Road-test (if applicable). Adherence to DOT Regulations. Senior technicians must have refrigeration certification and pass Type I/Type II practices. Effective communication in English if a CDL is required. Helpful Experience: Hands-on experience with mechanical systems and troubleshooting. Customer service experience, resolving issues and ensuring effective communication. Understanding of basic refrigeration and electrical systems. Proficiency in plumbing fundamentals. Experience in equipment installation (e.g., HVAC, refrigeration, fountain products).
