Your Opportunity The 2026 EBSCO Semantic Enrichment internship offers an exciting chance for college students to gain hands-on experience with search analytics, machine learning, and generative AI technology. Interns will work on world-class search platforms and manage extensive content sets within a B2B environment that serves leading academic institutions and libraries globally. What You'll Do Collaborate with the Semantic Enrichment team to investigate innovative techniques and applications of machine learning and generative AI technologies. Potential areas of focus include prompt engineering, function calling, classification, and vectorization methods. Gather strong requirements by closely examining workflows, engaging with stakeholders, and researching AI-driven solutions. Collect and analyze large datasets, including search queries and events, metadata, and full-text data, and prepare reports that summarize key findings to influence business outcomes. About You Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student graduating in December 2026 or later and eligible to work in the USA. Passionate interest in AI, machine learning, data science, natural language processing, information retrieval, or search relevance. Proficient in Python programming and experienced in handling large datasets. Pay Range USD $20.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr. The actual salary will be determined based on various factors, including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and location of the position.
