We are looking for a dedicated neurologist interested in further advancing their career in Pittsburgh, PA. Movement Disorders Highlights: Our program serves over 4,400 patients with movement disorders, including more than 1,500 patients with Parkinson's disease, alongside various referrals from our primary care network. The multidisciplinary team includes faculty, advanced practice providers, a nurse navigator, research coordinators, and a robust administrative support team, all dedicated to patient care. Our work is supported by national leaders in functional neurosurgery and Deep Brain Stimulation techniques. We have dedicated neuropsychologists for presurgical assessments and specialized physical and occupational therapists trained in LSVT BIG & LOUD. Qualifications: Completion of an ACGME approved Neurology Residency and a Movement Disorders Fellowship. Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree. Must be licensed in Pennsylvania prior to starting employment. Our dedicated team currently includes over 25 neurosurgeons, 37 neurologists, and 64 advanced practice providers, specializing in general neurology and subspecialty care. The Neuroscience Institute is expanding with a new hub at Allegheny General Hospital, slated to introduce an array of specialty clinics by 2026. This hub aims to integrate services that enhance care for individuals with chronic neurological conditions and their caregivers. Our innovative patient experience will include integrated navigators, behavioral health professionals, therapists, pharmacists, and financial counselors.
