Job Description: The Senior Infrastructure Platform Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise-scale Azure infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms. This role focuses on cloud infrastructure reliability, automation, observability, and incident management while ensuring high availability, security, and compliance. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, drive platform improvements, and support cloud-native initiatives through Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices. Requirement/Must Have: 8-12 years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or Platform Engineering. Strong expertise in Azure Cloud and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Proficiency in Terraform, Client Templates, and Infrastructure as Code best practices. Solid understanding of Kubernetes networking, security, and service mesh technologies. Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and automation processes. Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain enterprise-scale Azure infrastructure platforms, including OS and platform patching, service upgrades, and certificate lifecycle management. Ensure high availability, security, and compliance across cloud environments. Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Client Templates. Implement and maintain Azure networking, firewall integrations, and identity and access management solutions. Operate and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including cluster upgrades using N-1 strategy, node pool management, and autoscaling. Troubleshoot service mesh implementations such as Istio and manage Kubernetes network policies. Manage certificate lifecycle within Kubernetes environments. Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using YAML for infrastructure and application deployments. Govern and manage agent pools and automate image updates, scaling strategies, and deployment validations. Lead high-severity incidents, conduct rapid triage and root cause analysis, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive resolution efforts. Improve platform reliability through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives. Build and maintain SLO dashboards, alerting strategies, routing, and escalation mechanisms. utomate service Client and monitoring integrations. Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions and platform roadmap planning. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and customers across US time zones. Should Have: Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Exposure to multi-cluster or multi-region Kubernetes environments. zure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or similar. Skills: zure Networking and Azure Firewall integration. Identity and access management in Azure environments. Kubernetes cluster management, networking, and security. Service mesh technologies such as Istio. Observability and monitoring tools including Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana. utomation of scaling, deployment, and monitoring integrations. Qualification And Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
