Job Summary As a Restaurant Shift Leader, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to our customers while maintaining a lively and productive atmosphere. Working closely with the General Manager and Assistant Manager, you'll be instrumental in overseeing daily restaurant operations, managing inventory, cash control, and ensuring that all appearances and paperwork are in order. Your leadership will inspire teamwork and encourage exceptional customer service, all while driving sales and cultivating a fun environment. Customer Service Ensure every customer enjoys a delightful experience, promptly addressing complaints and actively seeking feedback. Regularly coach your team to consistently provide high-level service. Clean, Safe, and Secure Maintain an environment ready for inspection, ensuring that food preparation areas, restrooms, and guest contact points meet health and safety standards. Quickly identify potential safety hazards and adhere to safety protocols to protect employees and property. Food Safety and Planning Uphold sanitary food handling practices and cleanliness in all areas. Ensure compliance with operational standards and maintain a professional restaurant image through consistent quality of food preparation and service. Training Assist in developing a well-trained staff that meets and exceeds operational standards. Inventory Control Work under the direction of management to maintain organization in inventory and store appearance. Treat inventory with the same care as cash, addressing any variances promptly. Labor Controls Help ensure that all shifts are adequately staffed, coordinating daily team assignments based on sales trends. Cash Controls Oversee cash management, ensuring accurate handling of cash and credit card transactions. Report any unexplained cash shortages exceeding $5 to management immediately. Operations: Strive for Excellence! Ensure compliance with all brand standards. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Complete all internal operations training and paperwork audits successfully. Achieve high scores in all brand-sponsored inspections. Deliver exceptional customer service to every guest.
