Description Manager, Technology Performance Improvement Group - Private Equity Join Alvarez and Marsal, a top global professional services firm specializing in turnaround management, performance improvement, and corporate advisory services. We are expanding our Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) - Technology Performance Improvement Group team, aiming for significant growth in the next 2-4 years. With a robust operational heritage and a hands-on approach, we work with stakeholders to tackle complex business challenges and maximize value. Our PEPI practice serves upper middle market and large cap private equity firms, assisting them in enhancing operating results at their portfolio companies, typically valued between $50 million to over $1 billion. What You Will Be Doing As part of our Technology Performance Improvement Group, you will play a vital role in creating and capturing value. Your responsibilities will cover the entire deal lifecycle, from pre-deal operational reviews to post-deal implementation. You will also help develop and assess restructuring and turnaround plans while identifying operational risks. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading the preparation of major client deliverables, including financial models and presentations with minimal support. Conducting detailed analyses to meet project objectives and client needs. Designing and implementing cost optimization initiatives tailored to each business's strategic goals. Leading workstreams focusing on synergy assessment, cost savings initiatives, organizational design, and financial baselines. Supporting core operational due diligence and performance improvement efforts by identifying risks and key analyses to support engagements. Developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables that align with client objectives. Contributing to business development efforts through proposals and client presentations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with excellent academic credentials. 5-9+ years of consulting experience with technology-oriented clients specializing in operational and financial due diligence, performance improvement, and transaction execution. Proven experience leading business transformation workstreams. Expertise in Finance, Accounting, HR, and Organizational Design. Strong background in Communications Planning, Supply Chain, and Operations. Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, Marketing, Pricing, and Margin Optimization. Demonstrated experience in Knowledge Management and Program Leadership. Team-oriented, adaptable, and quick to learn. Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with excellent communication abilities. Proactive, analytical thinker with a strong initiative. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time. The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $190,000 annually, depending on various factors, including qualifications and geography.
