The Travel & Expense Manager is responsible for supporting core financial operations by managing accounts payable activities and administering the company's travel and expense (T&E) program. This role splits time between addressing escalated vendor inquiries and maintaining compliance, efficiency, and user support for employee expense reporting and corporate travel processes. This is a Hybrid position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Directly responsible for one team member. Manages and monitors traveler profiles including maintaining changes, additions, deactivations, troubleshooting technical user errors, field user questions, setup, payment inquiries and other matters related to expense reimbursement. Administers policies for expense reimbursements and corporate cards. Creates and automates audits and spend reports for the business to ensure adherence to policy. Reviews expenses and follows up on compliance issues as needed. Trains employees and facilitates ongoing implementations and updates. Serves as a subject matter expert and key escalation contact for internal stakeholders. Uses analytics to determine behavioral trends, potential misuse, and compliance. Resolve issues related to employee reimbursements. Review, verify and complete vendor maintenance requests Completes weekly check run Review and process complex invoices and vendor inquiries Modify and create SOP's to align with new processes. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration or equivalent work experience. 1-3 years experience in travel and expense reimbursement processes and services. SAP Concur and WellsOne travel & expense experience preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, and customer service skills including responsive, knowledgeable, and engaged. Prior project management experience a plus. Ability to effectively plan and organize. Ability to multi-task and to manage multiple priorities. Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team environment. Approaches work with initiative, enthusiasm, and drive. Able to work well with others in a team environment. Experience with Prelude a plus.
