Compensation: $85.00 30 hours per week Schedule Varies SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY Assessing the patient's physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan Giving advice and providing support for family members. Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient Installing the necessary equipment in the classroom for children with disabilities and teaching them how to use the equipment Helping children and adult patients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances Assisting patients' exercise for pain relief Reviewing the patient's progress and adapting the treatment accordingly Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Minimum of a Master's Degree Minimum of two (2) years experience in Child Study field NJ State Certifications Experience treating young adult populations Ability to complete and pass background checks prior to starting School based experience with Administrative Codes, Rules and Regulations Experience with Time Management, Deadlines, Diverse School Settings Familiar with evaluations, therapy, and case management Must be willing to obtain register/archive fingerprints under Delta-T Group codes.
