We are currently seeking dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to become part of our expanding team across various locations. Position Summary The Unarmed Security Officer is crucial in maintaining safety and security by monitoring premises, controlling access, conducting thorough patrols, observing activities, and reporting any incidents. In this role, you will actively help prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and any disturbances through your professionalism, vigilance, and effective communication skills. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine foot or vehicle patrols of assigned areas (both interior and exterior). Monitor surveillance cameras and other security systems. Ensure proper facility access by verifying identification and documenting entries. Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or violations of policy. Respond professionally to incidents and emergencies. Maintain order and ensure the safety of employees and visitors. Prepare daily activity logs and detailed incident reports. Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and emergency personnel when required. Adhere to all company policies and applicable regulations. Minimum Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Possess a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC). Completion of a 20 Hour Basic Training Certificate. Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings. U.S. citizenship or legally authorized to work in the U.S. Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods and respond swiftly in emergencies. A high school diploma or GED. Two forms of identification, including a government-issued photo ID. Good physical condition. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in security, customer service, military, or law enforcement. Familiarity with security technology and reporting systems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure. Work Environment This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Officers are expected to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times and adhere to safety protocols.
