Senior Application Architect

Job Description: Pay Range: $38.53hr - $50.10hr The Application Architect II is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable database and application solutions across multiple system environments. This role focuses on Oracle PL/SQL development, ETL implementation using Oracle Data Integrator, business intelligence reporting, and integration between MES and financial systems. The position requires strong technical leadership, architectural expertise, and collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver robust and high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL code to support business applications. Design and implement ETL and ELT processes using Oracle Data Integrator. Create and maintain Excel macros to support data manipulation and reporting requirements. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve code issues to ensure system reliability and performance. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Develop scalable database solutions integrating Manufacturing Execution Systems and financial systems. Work with BI tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, and Tableau to support reporting and visualization needs. Ensure data integrity, security, and performance across database applications. Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain quality standards. Design, develop, and test applications across front-end, middle-tier, and back-end components. Analyze business models, logical specifications, and user requirements to design technical solutions. Lead tool evaluation efforts including defining evaluation criteria and assessing market solutions. Work across multiple platforms including mainframes, midrange systems, and micro systems. Interact with and manage product vendors and suppliers when required. Oversee application development and application environment management. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Database Developer with strong Oracle PL/SQL expertise. Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator as the primary ETL tool. Strong SQL skills and solid database knowledge. Experience designing and implementing complex data mappings, interfaces, and packages using ODI. Proficiency in creating and managing advanced Excel macros. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions. Experience integrating MES and financial systems is highly desirable. Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills. Self-driven with strong problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Oracle database administration and SQL performance tuning. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of additional ETL tools or programming languages. Experience with Power BI or Tableau for reporting and analytics. Required Soft Skills: Highly self-motivated and proactive. Strong communication skills. Comfortable interacting directly with customers and stakeholders.
