As part of our committed team, you will provide vital HSE support and leadership to an EPCM project at a client facility located in Saint Francisville, LA. You will collaborate closely with the HSE Director, HSE Manager, Project Manager, and Construction Manager to drive HSE excellence, ensuring the utmost safety of our workers and continuity for our client's business operations. Your role will be pivotal in promoting the BeyondZero safety performance initiatives, aligned with the Line of Business' strategic plans. You'll take charge of establishing effective communication with HSE leadership and team members, providing technical resources, guidance, and ensuring consistent implementation of HSE processes that align with project goals. By building strong working relationships, you will be a visible leader, offering training, technical support, regulatory guidance, and governance oversight to ensure alignment with Jacobs' HSE program. Your responsibilities will also include leading incident reporting and investigation processes, overseeing injury management, and reviewing subcontractor safety assessments. While the role requires minimal travel to and from the project site, future projects may involve travel within the US or North America. To succeed, you must effectively manage a variety of tasks: supporting field HSE staff, providing leadership to project managers and construction teams, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages subcontractor success. We are looking for someone who possesses: HSE certification and/or an associate degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, or a related field A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in managing Construction Health and Safety At least 5 years of experience in managing subcontractor Health and Safety in construction settings OSHA 500 series certification and experience in delivering safety training Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong interpersonal and personnel management skills Knowledge of applicable regulatory compliance and requirements from federal, state, and local agencies If you are ready to take on this challenge and contribute to a culture of safety, we look forward to seeing your application.
