Description Conduct assessments of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups utilizing an array of standardized tools and observational methods. Craft individualized treatment plans that cater to immediate objectives along with long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver focused one-on-one therapeutic interventions emphasizing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing therapies. Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, healthcare providers, caregivers, and families to cultivate a thorough approach to patient care. Provide education and resources to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions. Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and treatments to ensure uninterrupted healing throughout the care continuum. Keep accurate and timely documentation as per state, federal, and internal policies. Remain informed about the latest advancements in the field via ongoing education and collaborative professional interactions. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting the position. Skills Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic strategies for all age groups, with a solid understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing impairments. Exceptional communication abilities tailored for interaction with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Capability to modify therapeutic strategies catering to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong clinical judgment coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
