Come build your career with BAE Systems BAE Systems is seeking a Principal Semiconductor Process Engineer to join the MMICs & Foundry Capability Group (located in Nashua, NH). Process and Equipment oriented in semiconductor processing, 100% cleanroom job function, validate and monitor daily production activities. In this role, you will contribute to team efforts to sustain/support process and new equipment qualification activities by working closely with Process Integration and Production groups, optimize current processes for lean manufacturing, SPC controls, and yield improvement. This includes overlapping with first and second shift operations. Experience in semiconductor process engineering is highly desired. Multi-tasking is expected with delivery commitments to both internal and external customers. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Required Skills and EducationBS in Engineering or related field with 6+ years of work experience (4 years with MS or 2 years with Ph.D. degree) Experience in one or more semiconductor unit process areas - Dry Etch, Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) , Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), Wet Etch, Lithography/Ebeam, Metrology, and other common Process Engineering functional process areas Hands-on experience in semiconductor processing, new tool installs and qualification, process development and process improvement Understanding and Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), and/or Design of Experiment (DOE) Ability to perform job functions in wafer foundry cleanroom environment 100% onsite cleanroom job function Preferred Skills and EducationExperience in one or more semiconductor unit process areas - Dry Etch, Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) Knowledge of GaAs and GaN MMIC technologies Background in statistical data analysis and interpretation Experience with JMP software Experience with PROMIS Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software US citizenship preferred Ability to multi-task, functioning both as individual contributor and as team players in multiple projects Strong verbal and written communication skills
