What You'll Do: As a CNC Machinist Lead, you will be responsible for: Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. Selecting and ensuring the correct use of tools, fixtures, and materials for each job. Calibrating machines and monitoring production processes to maintain quality and safety standards. Leading and mentoring junior machinists, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Conducting quality control inspections and applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles. Utilizing G-code and M-code programming to optimize machine performance and efficiency. What You'll Bring: The ideal candidate for this role will have: A high school diploma or GED; a technical certification or associate degree in machining is preferred. At least 2 years of experience in CNC milling machine setup and operation. Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming is advantageous. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and machining practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
