Join our passionate team and help us prioritize health! The Actuarial Analyst 2, Pricing Strategy plays a crucial role in determining pricing assumptions, submitting bids, and managing the approval of premium rates with regulatory agencies. You'll support the implementation of new rates, plans, and benefit modifications while providing invaluable insights to Product Development regarding cost impacts. This position involves developing and maintaining pricing tools for both standard and custom benefits, with assignments that require interpretation and independent decision-making. In this role, you will establish market-level financial metrics to align with our profitability goals, analyze market-level results and projections, and recommend pricing actions to fill gaps toward our targets. You'll utilize experience data tools and market projections to gather insights and research competitive landscape, working in collaboration with sales and other partners to build strategies for profitable growth. Your work will include guaranteeing actuarial certifications on rate filings and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations as it pertains to rating and benefits. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree Completion of at least 3 actuarial exams Strong communication skills Commitment to enhancing consumer experiences Preferred Qualifications: Experience in health insurance Knowledge of Medicare Advantage This is a remote position; however, occasional travel to Humana's offices may be necessary for training or meetings. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: The salary range for this role is $80,900 to $110,300 per year, reflecting a good faith estimate for full-time employment. Actual pay may vary based on location and individual qualifications, skills, experience, and certifications. Additionally, this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus incentive plan.
