Foster inspiring and respectful relationships with worker and community leaders. Communicate a clear vision for union success and strategize for union recognition. Lead engaging organizing meetings to inspire action. Conduct thorough research and handle the logistics of organizing campaigns. Empower and motivate workers and community members to take action for union growth. Report regularly and accurately on your activities to the Organizing Director. Perform all other duties as assigned. COMPETENCIES: Dedicated to trade union principles. Excellent interpersonal communication and persuasive skills. Strong understanding of campaign organizing practices to mobilize support. Ability to work collaboratively in diverse team environments. Self-organized with effective prioritization skills. Emotional intelligence and ability to manage stress professionally. Independently make informed decisions and take initiative. Familiarity with union history and practices. Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations. Skilled in using field database systems. Proficient in campaign writing and professional correspondence. Timely and punctual with a commitment to professional standards. JOB DEMANDS: This is a salaried position with long and irregular hours, frequent travel, and occasional overnight stays. Participation in special campaigns may require longer travel commitments. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
