Description Perform evaluations across pediatric, adulthood, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and observational techniques. Create tailored treatment strategies that address both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Engage in individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to establish integrated care plans. Provide educational resources to patients and families, fostering progress beyond treatment sessions. Contribute to sporadic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing continuity of care throughout the recovery process. Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development through education and collaboration with peers. Education A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be secured within 30 days of onboarding. Skills Expertise in evidence-based practices for diverse age groups, with comprehensive knowledge of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Superior interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and collaborative healthcare teams. Flexibility to modify therapeutic techniques to suit varied cultural and linguistic needs.
