Security Alarm Technician

Key Responsibilities: Address trouble tickets to maintain application performance and uptime. Diagnose and resolve application issues collaboratively and independently. Conduct preventative maintenance to enhance application availability. Manage routine configuration changes (e.g., user permissions, application settings). Document all system changes through a digital control tracking system. Create quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. Perform comprehensive testing prior to deploying upgrades and modifications. Install software upgrades and major modifications on-site. Required Qualifications: CT Low Voltage License required (E-2 or C-5). Availability for on-call shifts is necessary. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma Required. Experience with servicing and troubleshooting Fire systems is a plus. Lenel OnGuard Certification or other access control certifications are advantageous. Verint Nextiva / VMS Certification or similar CCTV certifications are beneficial. Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Client environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with network communications and IP addressing. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Outstanding time management skills. A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
