Steel Draftsperson / Reviewer - Large-Scale Structural Steel & Misc. Metals Fabrication We are excited to invite a talented Steel Draftsperson/Reviewer to be part of our team, where you will ensure the precision and quality of shop and erection drawings for intricate structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable fabricator/erector recognized for creating some of the most iconic structures in the region. In your role as a Draftsperson/Reviewer, you will be instrumental in generating and reviewing detailed drawings, collaborating with engineers and project managers, and maintaining the highest level of precision and efficiency throughout the detailing phase. Key Responsibilities: Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project specifications and industry standards. Create and modify shop and erection drawings utilizing Tekla software. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to troubleshoot design challenges and optimize workflow. Ensure all detailing adheres to fabrication and erection quality and constructability standards. Enhance detailing standards, templates, and workflows for continuous improvement. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in structural steel or miscellaneous metals detailing/reviewing. Expertise in Tekla Structures or Advanced Steel. Comprehensive understanding of fabrication and erection practices. Demonstrated capability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings. Outstanding attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong organizational and time management competencies.
