About the Role: This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of Charles River Development (CRD), optimizing front-to-back investment processes to drive operational excellence. We are looking for individuals with a strong functional understanding of asset management operations and hands-on experience with CRD modules. Your Key Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert on Charles River Development (CRD) functionality, addressing trading, compliance, portfolio management, and post-trade workflows commonly utilized by asset managers. Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, compliance, and operations to collect and document business requirements effectively. Configure CRD components including workflows, compliance rules, blotters, and manager workbench among others. Translate business requirements into detailed CRD configurations, workflows, and rules. Conduct system analysis, data mapping, and testing for CRD integrations with upstream and downstream systems. Utilize CRD SDK and APIs to enhance data exchanges and integrations. Support the migration of SaaS environments, transitioning from on-premise to cloud-hosted solutions. Work cross-functionally with technology, data, and operations teams to align business objectives with system capabilities. Assist in maintaining and enhancing the CRD platform through upgrades, bug fixes, and enhancements. Lead workshops and discussions with global stakeholders to communicate functional requirements and validate proposed solutions. Oversee functional testing, UAT coordination, and documentation of design solutions. Coordinate with data governance and architecture teams to ensure data integrity across CRD and related systems. Skills and Attributes for Success: Engaging in teamwork with clients and technology professionals to provide comprehensive technology solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with around 3 years of relevant work experience, or a graduate degree with around 2-3 years of related experience. Degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, or a related field; MBA or MS degree is preferred. 2-3 years of experience in a financial services company or supporting financial services firms as an advisor. Practical experience in a Hedge Fund or Asset Management company, or as a Management Consultant for these firms. A minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with Charles River Development (CRD/CRIMS) is essential. Strong SQL and data analysis skills are necessary for validating CRD data flows. Experience with SaaS migrations is required, focusing on transitions from on-premise environments to cloud-based solutions. Proven ability to collaborate with technology teams across all phases of the technology life cycle. Excellent communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills are necessary. Comfort with researching client inquiries and emerging issues in technology and regulations. Strong experience in project management and testing methodologies is preferred. Deep knowledge of technical architecture design and ability to discuss technology tools critically. Willingness to travel as needed, valid passport and driver's license required. The base salary range is $102,500 to $187,900 across the U.S., with New York, Washington State, and California offering a range of $122,900 to $213,400.
