Your Key Responsibilities: Conduct clinical hygiene procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and oral cancer screenings. Educate patients about the importance of oral hygiene, providing demonstrations of effective methods. Collaborate with doctors to identify restorative and periodontal opportunities for patients. Obtain and review dental histories to ensure accurate patient records. Qualifications: Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license. X-Ray/Radiology Certification where state regulations specify. Local Anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide certification where state regulations specify.
