Telecommunications Installation Technician

Job Summary Become an integral part of our team as a Telecommunications Installation Technician! In this role, you'll be essential in the installation and testing of telecommunication infrastructure while following established guidelines to ensure quality and performance. Key Responsibilities Carry out end-to-end system installations and testing, with tasks tailored to vary by project type and scope. Support higher-level Technicians, Lead Technicians, or Site Managers with assigned duties to enhance team efficiency. Knowledge and Skills Required Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the telecommunications installation landscape. Experience in telecom/data center environments, particularly in: Installing raised floor systems Setting up server cabinets and open racks Installing ladder racks, fiber troughs, and associated materials Understanding proper lacing techniques Capable of completing tasks thoroughly under supervision. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders up to 25 feet, as well as work on lifts up to 40 feet. Physical capacity to lift or carry weights of up to 50 pounds. Education / Certification High school diploma or its equivalent. 3-4 years of experience in telecommunication infrastructure installation. Must successfully pass pre-employment testing (drug and background check) and possess a valid driver's license.
