About the job Estimator Mitigation & Reconstruction Job descriptionJob Summary MacFawn Fire & Flood Restoration is seeking an Estimator to join their team in their Albany, NY location. The Estimator will work in both an office setting and in the field to complete all duties relative to estimating projects. This position will also include reporting to the General Manager and performing various operational related tasks as needed. Responsibilities & Duties Responding to both emergency and non-emergency restoration job sites Development and collection of project related documentation to aid in estimation: Photos Measurements Sketches Scopes of Work Material costs Labor costs Subcontractor pricing Estimate production utilizing estimating software (ie Xactimate) and/or time and material billing rates Qualifications Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic 2+ years construction and property restoration experience Ability to discuss, confirm and execute scope of work Ability to identify potential site hazards (asbestos, lead paint, mold, etc.) Willing to work nights and weekends when requested Travel / site visits required Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs. Sustained periods of standing, walking, bending, an kneeling Must be willing to pass background check and drug test. Job Type: Full-time Salary: Based on experience Package Details
