Baptist Hospice is looking for caring, reliable volunteers in the Winona and Vaiden areas to provide companionship and comfort to patients in their final season of life. Whether you hold a hand, listen to stories, or simply sit in silence, your presence can bring peace and dignity to someone's final journey. What You'll Do: Visit patients in Winona or Vaiden homes or nursing facilities. Offer a comforting presence through conversation, music or reading aloud. Support families just by being there - no medical tasks required. Choose your own schedule - just 2-4 hours a month makes a difference! Who Can Volunteer? Adults 18 and older with compassion and dependability. Retirees, college students, working professionals - no experience is needed. Full training provided by our hospice team.
