Plant Blender

Description A local lubricants manufacturer is looking for a full-time blender. Position will be a permanent full-time position after completion of a probationary period of satisfactory performance. Work responsibilities will include operating blending tanks that mix materials - using valves, pumps, filters, and scales throughout the blending process by weighing and measuring additives and then mixing them with petroleum in specialized tanks. Work will also include taking samples to the lab for testing, accurately completing information sheets, and making sure products are safely stored. Candidates should have a minimum of 1-year relatable experience, excellent safety record, reliable transportation, and good attendance. Ability to utilize valves, pumps, filters, and scales throughout the blending process. Ability to accurately complete blend information sheets. Ability to ensure the safe transport and storage of materials. Ability to load and unload tanker trucks and railcars. Ability to read, interpret, and understand numerous products, boxes, and labels. Ability to work with a team. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to perform basic mathematical functions. Good communication skills. Ability to work at a fast pace. Ability to stoop, squat, and climb ladders (must be comfortable with heights). Must pay close attention to details. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively. Must be at least 18 years of age. Normal Work Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM Compensation: $20.00 / Hour $.90 / Hour increase at 6 months, then additional $.90 / Hour increase at 12 months with satisfactory performance.
