During difficult times, it’s easy to feel anxious and alone, especially for residents in our homeless shelter and senior housing. Receiving greeting cards in the mail brings a glimmer of hope and joy to their day, and lets them know they are being prayed for, cared about, and remembered. Gather materials: greeting cards (or paper), writing utensil (pen, colored pencil, crayon, etc.), any decorations, envelopes, stamps. Write an encouraging message, such as: "Dear friend, I know these times can be tough, but you are tougher! I wanted to let you know I am thinking of and praying for you. I hope this card brightens your day! - Sally" Address the envelope(s) to one of our participating sites below. Mail your card(s)!
