A fast-growing professional services firm seeks a Human Resources Generalist to join their dynamic team. The Human Resources Generalist is an integral part of the firm’s human resources team and will be responsible for providing operational support to various functions and practice groups within firm's offices, while serving as a point of contact for all human resources (HR) questions including but not limited to Paid Time Off (PTO), timekeeping system application, benefits eligibility, leave eligibility, accommodation requests, and recruiting, as well as facilitating connection with appropriate functional departments and providing updates to the HR Manager and team members as needed. Responsibilities Understanding the firm’s human resources policies and answering most questions independently, using appropriate judgment to collaborate and escalate complex questions and issues as appropriate, and following-up to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner Managing timekeeping activities including following up with managers and supervisors to ensure all timecards are approved, answering routine questions about timekeeping and the timekeeping system, and ensuring FLSA standards are met Leading new hire orientation; developing programs to facilitate new employee integration during the first year of employment to meet the firm’s objectives for new hire retention Promoting value-added benefits, wellness events, and training opportunities in partnership with the Well-Being & Benefits and Development & Training departments Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that firm retains Qualifications Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of human resources functions Exhibit well-developed and professional interpersonal skills Display the ability to cultivate relationships across teams at all organizational levels of the firm Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent; focus in a related field, preferably A minimum of four (4) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience Many of our job openings can be viewed at Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 per year
