Founding Engineer

Location: SF, in-person Hours: Full-time About Nabi Nabi is building a new behavioral healthcare system to serve 100M patients with exceptional care in the next 10 years. We're starting out with building the first digital health platform for eating disorders with an agentic care model, where we empower clinicians with agents to deliver continuous care. We've already served tens of thousands of members and have raised over $10M from some of the top-tier VC firms. Why we need you As a founding engineer, you'll be responsible for building provider-facing tools that help clinicians practice at the top of their license. You'll work closely with the CEO, Chief Clinical Officer, and care team to design and scale the internal systems that power care. From EHR workflows to clinical dashboards and automation, you'll help shape the infrastructure that enables high quality care. This is a critical role for an engineer who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and cares deeply about healthcare done right. What You'll Do Build and optimize EHR workflows to support high-quality, efficient clinical care Develop new patient onboarding tools to streamline intake and setup Automate backoffice processes including billing, RCM, and internal ops Build internal tools to support clinicians, care ops, and leadership Collaborate closely with clinical and operational stakeholders to ship fast, reliable systems What We're Looking For Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco - this is an in-person role Detail-oriented with strong design instincts - you care about clean UX, polished UI, and building tools that feel great to use Scrappy and fast-moving - you get things done quickly without sacrificing quality, and you're comfortable building in ambiguity Fast learner - you ramp up quickly on new tools, systems, and domains Deep empathy - you care about building for real people, especially patients and the clinicians who serve them Strong candidates may also have Experience with Elixir and the JavaScript/TypeScript stack (React, Node, etc.) Strong product and design instincts What We Offer Compensation: meaningful compensation as part of the founding team Equity: meaningful equity as part of founding team Benefits: Competitive healthcare, vision, and dental, retirement accounts, and free lunch + dinners in the office.
